    Ryan Reid is a voice actor and former radio DJ with experience in dubbing on two Funimation series, One Piece and Baka & Test, as well as the One Piece movie Strong World. He has provided voices for commercials, trailers, online performance pieces, and indie-developed video games. This husband and father of three is also an accomplished writer with published poetry, non-fiction pieces, and performance work for film and stage.

    Kendell Byrd is originally from Chicago, IL but is now based in LA where she is a voice actor and on the writing team at Netflix Animation. You can hear Kendell in video games such as Genshin Impact and SMITE, and a handful of other fun projects coming down the line. Kendell also does theater in LA where she has worked with the Wallis Annenberg Performing Arts Center (Wallis Studio Ensemble), Independent Shakespeare Company, and Cornerstone Theater Company. Kendell is over the moon excited to be a part of the Liars and Leeches cast, and thanks Hemlock Creek Productions for bringing her on to this fun adventure!

    "Newton “Newt” Schottelkotte (they/them) is a producer, sound designer, composer, and all-around podcasting person from Nashville, TN. In addition to working as the Director of Marketing for the Fable and Folly Network, they produce podcasts, including “Where the Stars Fell,” “Mini Marconis,” and “Inkwyrm,” as the head of Caldera Studios, and can be found sharing their skills and love for audio storytelling throughout the audio drama community. Newt enjoys getting outdoors, knowing way too much about the history of country music, and attempting to be funny on Twitter.

    Jason has been described as a modern-day Magellan and a Renaissance man. With an M.Ed. and an MFA in Writing for Stage and Screen, he is a published playwright, an actor, a director, a versatile voiceover talent, and a teacher of Acting, English, and Theatre. Jason will soon be seen in Season 1 of “House of Helsing.” Based with his family in Dilijan, Armenia, he is currently developing a variety of projects with international artists- under the HOVQ Foundation- as part of the town’s cultural and artistic rebirth.

    Marisa Ewing is a dialogue editor, sound designer, and mixing/mastering engineer based in Chicago, IL. She has edited audio for podcasts, film, and video games, and has now added writing a podcast to her list of experience. Some of her past projects include “The Last of Us Part 1,” “Maxine Miles,” and “Dark Dice.”

    In 2020, Marisa founded Hemlock Creek Productions, a production company focused on editing needs for remote productions. Since then, Hemlock Creek has worked on dozens of projects, and is now branching out into creating original productions.

When they are not writing, they are spending time with their two cats and working on other creative projects.

    Melissa is a sound designer and field recordist based in Portugal. She started her career in the Scandinavian film industry with renowned post production houses. Between sound design, and audio engineering, Melissa also worked as a sound mixer in Swedish films and TV series. Later on, she supervised and sound designed the film Ghabe, which earned her an award for Best Sound by European Cinematography Awards (ECA). Currently, her practice of sound design is mostly in audio dramas, a genre she came to love.

    Melissa was short-listed for the Best Field Recordist in the first Sound of the Year Awards for her recordings "Wolf Soundscapes". Currently she's the curator of earth.fm, a soundmap of professionally recorded nature sounds.

    She's also a composer, having completed her first commissioned piece Touch in 2020 and a new work on Gruenrekorder is to be released this year.
